Elysian Estates, a luxury accommodation company based out of the United Kingdom, is looking for expert-level Minecraft players to build 10 of their real-world estates in-game. Each property built will earn participants £1,000, with all 10 estates built netting them £10,000 (or $14,000). It’s a great opportunity for hardcore users of the game to essentially be paid a ton of money to do something they normally do for free.The job is open to anyone who is a UK citizen and is above the age of sixteen. In order to enter, participants have to construct the Aldourie Castle within Minecraft. There is an image pack available which contains hi-res pictures of the estate. Those entering the contest only have to build the exterior of the castle. The listing says: “Property specialists at Elysian Estates are looking specifically for intricate detail, imagination and creativity. All entries will be judged by the property specialists, who will select and inform the successful ‘virtual estate builder’ a week later on 25 April via email.”This is obviously a great opportunity for devoted Minecraft players. Elysian Estates says if this project proves to be successful within Minecraft that it will plan other similar projects once this one is finished.
