Narbonne struggled to move the ball early in the game, but the offense began to click near the end of the first quarter. Narbonne scored two quick touchdowns to grab a 14-0 lead, and never looked back, taking a 42-0 lead in the third quarter. Holding an overwhelming size advantage, Narbonne controlled the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. Featuring several different running backs, Narbonne rushed for 269 yards, with three running backs gaining at least 50 yards. Running back Thomas Gray led the way for Narbonne with 94 yards on six carries. Melvin Davis chipped in 80 yards and a touchdown on four carries.
